Mommy, Mommy, Mommy…

Ughh, I think someone just realized who their momma was! Yes, I am speaking of my son. After two months of asking him, “where’s mommy,” by myself and other family members…and him joyfully pointing to himself with a sly grin…he now decides he wants me to be his momma.
So now on the way to daycare, when I pick him up from daycare, when he sees me, or when he thinks I am going to leave him it’s mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy as gazillion billion catrillion times!
Huh, things to wish or not wish for…I think I even heard it in my sleep last night.

It's so true. You can't wait for them to 1)talk and 2) recognize who you are. Then suddenly all they do is talk about who you are and you're kind of like, "um, shut up?"

Then again maybe that's just me. :-)

Thanks for the comment over at my place!
