New Year’s

... Resolution Joy

Happy New Years to all. It's monday...and believe it or not I don't have a case of "the mondays!" Today it's back to a regular work schedule. I got to slightly slack off for the two weeks due to the holidays and all the festivities planned during that time.

'E' had an awesome holiday! He's really coming into his own - playing well with others, putting together tons of sentences - calling folks on the phone conversing, and my favorite - he now tells me when his food it "goood"...it's funny how i didn't completely realize he was changing until spending more time with him during the holiday (unlike the time we spend during the normal work week). Oh and he poo poo'd in the potty. what a blessing. i just have to keep up the work with that.

E's treasured present received: matchbox cars and the automobile garage w/ramp given to him by his grand pop

as for myself, i didn't relax much during the day - relaxed when everyone was sleep, staying up to the wee hours watching tv and snacking - i payed for it in the mornings.  somewhere along the holiday i went on a spiritual journey - i did found understanding in a lot of things as far as myself, relationships, etc. not sure how this journey came about but i know it happened and i and i'm glad i did.

mom's treasured present received: the scarf pictured above by Mr. B.

i hope that everyone had a good holiday and is bright eyed and bushy tailed for this new year and what it has in store. i didn't make any new year’s resolutions. i usually break them or as i'd like to say forget about them. However, i am inspired by this new year and am i am keeping my fingers crossed for good this to come as i navigate the year.

our most treasured present received: the love and support of our families and being able to spend time with those close to us (that includes you too Mr. B).

did you make any new year’s resolutions? if so have you broken any of them yet? more so how are you approaching this new year?
