hypothyroidism:
- fatigue
- frequent, heavy menstrual periods
- forgetfulness
- weight gain
- dry, coarse skin and hair
- hoarse voice
- intolerance to cold
hyperthyroidism:
- irritability/nervousness
- infrequent, scant menstrual periods
- weight loss
- sleep disturbances
- enlarged thyroid gland
- vision problems or eye irritation
- heat sensitivity
so i have ten of these symptoms from the two lists above,
and so i thought i was going crazy.
my feelings and emotions within the last year have actually amounted to something.
and as the saying goes, "it's always something"
...and so they say, thyroid diseases are life-long conditions and with careful management, people with thyroid disease can live healthy, normal lives.
ahhhh normal...what exactly is that?
