It's been a couple of days and a weekend since I last posted. I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend. I must report, there wasn't a thing classy or traditional about our holiday weekend! As a matter of fact, I'm still recuperating - and this sweltering hot weather isn't speeding up my weekend recovery! No, I didn't go out a drink till I puked or anything like that! Now that I think about it - I only had one blissful drink all weekend. Otherwise the weekend included heat, heat, heat, food, heat, the beach, a small breeze along the water, more heat, chalk sidewalk creations, and absolutely no errands (which I'm paying for as the week goes along.
Like I said, nothing classy or traditional! I'd call the the weekend a weekend for letting go! A slack in rules that is. I even let the boy walk around in his pampers and pull ups most of the weekend - in the neighborhood, at the beach, etc. I even let him run naked for a bit when he decided to take all his clothes off (as he often does these days). So what if you're frowning down at me...I let loose every couple of months, besides the weather made me do it! So I feel good about the holiday weekend...but I'm still hot as the dickens!
