Well the weekends over and so is the wedding of two of the greatest people I know. And so I missed the wedding! I'm in pain from missing the wedding too! Seriously. There are all kinds of factors which resulted
in me not attending the wedding (which we won't get into here). I informed my two pals that I would not be able to share their special day (and boy what a struggle that was) and they totally understood...but I still couldn't understand.

I was supposed to be there and you know, I feel like crap because I wasn't able to make it. So this wedding (extremely festival I'm sure) took place on Saturday...about 689 miles away - where I used to live (this is how I met this great pair). I swear on Saturday, I did everything possible to try and forget that I wasn't going to the wedding. However, I just kept getting little subtle hints all day that it was happening and that I wasn't going to be there. First, it was the calendar on my cell phone reminding me about the flight that didn't get booked! Then, it was coming across the wedding invitation (that I designed) while doing chores. Next, there was the random text and FB messages people where posting about the wedding. Lastly, that last reminder - the alarm on my calender reminding me there was 15 minutes to go before the wedding started! Uuuughhhh, I could have just cried. I wondered and thought how horrible of a friend I was. You see my one dear friend was one of the first non work related persons I met when I moved to the South - we met at the pool (another great story)...and from there we had this great bond. I still remember how she'd run home everyday from work to check her mailbox (she loves mail). Her finance, well now husband hadn't moved to the area yet so it was just her and I taking on the town. However, when her other half did move to town we had even more fun. I'd say they are the greatest couple/ pair anyone could ask for - and they love 'E' like their own (if they had kids).
Well, not to drag this post on but I'm still a bit upset - hence the post but am extremely excited for them and definitely gearing up for their second reception (yes, second) which will be 1,039 miles away!
Congrats Sarah & Dale, you are the best - all my love!!!
p.s. Sarah, check your mail!
