I've been a bit silent since the disaster in Haiti...not sure why. I guess I've been in amazement...again, not sure why. I know that nature and time has no bearing on us! However, I am NOT at all amazed by all the comments (good and bad) that have been made in regards to the situation either. I could say a lot of the negative comments were unnecessary but then who would I be - oh I'd be one voicing my opinion like those that made the negative comments. All in all, my hearts go out to the people in Haiti. I could not fathom such a crisis happening here and never want to have to experience something of that magnitude. I didn't make a donation right off but since have made one. I just feel helpless and hope that somehow the donation I made is able to help in some fashion. If anyone is looking to donate CBS has a good list of reputable donors (click CBS to see donor list).

Update 2/10: Since this post, I have made a donation to Haiti...and I must say I feel good about it.
